World Fireworks Championship
11th October 2025
A dazzling international competition where top pyrotechnic
teams from around the globe light up the skies above
Blackpool’s seafront.
Held on selected nights in autumn, the event features
breathtaking firework displays set to music, attracting huge
crowds along the Promenade. With the iconic Blackpool Tower as
a backdrop, it’s one of the resort’s most spectacular and
unforgettable annual events.
Christmas in Blackpool
December 2025
Blackpool at Christmas turns into a festive wonderland by the
sea. The town comes alive with Christmas by the Sea, a
seasonal event set up on the Tower Festival Headland.
Expect an outdoor ice rink, projection-shows, enchanting light
displays, log cabins full of food, drink & gifts, fairground
rides, plus the street markets, festive lights, and carol
concerts that bring the community together.
